Charles T. Wilkinson graduated from Wake Forest in 1920 and received his M.D. from Tulane University in 1922. During World War II he was a Lt. Col. (later Col.) and commanding officer of the 171st Station Hospital, New Guinea. This collection consists primarily of letters to and from Dr. Wilkinson while he was serving in the Pacific Theater during World War II. There are clippings, a photograph, and printed items in the collection.
