A number of enynyloxy dimethyl and diisopropyl silanes have been prepared and converted into siloxacyclopentene containing 1,3-dienes via intramolecular hydrosilylation of the alkyne functional group. Diels-Alder reactions of these dienes are reported. (abstract)
