Originally known as the College Union, WFU's Student Union now is run and funded by the Office of Student Engagement. The Board is populated by Vice Presidents and committee members; the committees regularly change name and structure based on changing student interests and needs. In 2024, there are three committees: the Community and Spirited Events Committee, CATS, and the Performers and Imaginative Events Committee.
The Union plans and executes over 200 campus events per year, including SpringFest, Homecoming, film screenings, lectures, crafting events, art exhibitions, coffee chats and houses, and short courses.
This collection highlights the work of WFU's Student Union. Materials include movie and music event fliers, speech notes, autographed photographss, stickers, art brochures, a list of student organizations from 1981-1982, and the College Union constitution.
