Smith Reynolds Library Special Collections and Archives English L 0.42 Linear Feet 1 document box 1960 2019 WFU's Student Union is a programming committee in charge of many campus events, including Homecoming, movie screenings, lectures, art exhibitions, trivia, craft events, and campus traditions. Materials include lecture notes, autographed photos, art brochures and pamphlets, lists of student organizations, and its constitution. Historical Note Originally known as the College Union, WFU's Student Union now is run and funded by the Office of Student Engagement. The Board is populated by Vice Presidents and committee members; the committees regularly change name and structure based on changing student interests and needs. In 2024, there are three committees: the Community and Spirited Events Committee, CATS, and the Performers and Imaginative Events Committee. The Union plans and executes over 200 campus events per year, including SpringFest, Homecoming, film screenings, lectures, crafting events, art exhibitions, coffee chats and houses, and short courses.
