Biographical Note Dr. James Estol Tull was a native of Arkansas. In addition to graduating with degrees from Baylor University, Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, and Columbia University, he served in the U.S. Army as a chaplain and taught theology at the Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary, in Wake Forest, North Carolina, for 25 years. Tull was also the author of and his dissertation (1959).
