WFU's Buildings and Grounds Department, now split into the Office of Maintenance and Utilities and the Office of Planning and Construction, was the advising department to the University's plans in alterating campus grounds. Collection materials include meeting minutes, budgets, correspondence, contracts, invoices about the contruction and maintenance of campus facilities, as well as building-centric University publications.

Historical Note
WFU's Buildings and Grounds Department, now split into the Office of Maintenance and Utilities and the Office of Planning and Construction, was the advising department to the University's plans in alterating campus grounds. Tasks of the deparment included land and building surveying, collecting data on classroom space, and writing recommendation reports to the President.

This collection contains records from the Buildings and Grounds department at WFU and other documentation regarding Reynolda Campus in Winston-Salem, N.C. Materials include meeting minutes, budgets, correspondence, contracts, building dedication materials, and reports about the contruction and maintenance of campus facilities. It also contains specifications, blueprints, and invoices for Groves Stadium's (Winston-Salem, N.C.) establishment, now known as BB&T Field.
