Br. I who has been absent a number of days has just returned  While absent he spent a night with Eld H of P  Br I informs me that while in P  Mr. H conversed with him respecting myself on a subject very unexpected and not very pleasant  Br gave him but little encouragement  I should still less  My youth my inexperience is by no means suitable for a character so dignified  But it is not in man that walketh to direct his steps  I rejoice that it is so  What will be my future situation in this life is known only to him in whose hands are the destinies of all
