Piney Green Bapist Church was constituted during 1847. It has been a member of the Union, 1848-1850; Raleigh, 1851-1859; Cedar Creek, 1860-1877; South River, 1877-1923; and New South River, 1924-present Baptist associations.
This collection includes church minutes, member rolls, church constitution, church history, property records, and news clippings. Reel 3, containing materials from 1880-1931, shares a reel with New Life Baptist Church (CRMF 1041) materials. All other materials (1932-2000) are on Reel 1 (positive). Reel 2 (negative) is a duplicate of Reel 1. Items are listed in order of appearance on the microfilm reels.
