The contents of this acquisition were received on loan for microfilming and return to the church from Mrs. Robert Bryden, 405 North Main Street, High Point, N.C., on March 11, 1974.
Scope and Contents
The contents of these records contain minutes of church conferences from July 1832 to December 20, 1972 and includes membership rolls; records of the Board of Deacons between 1927-1971; membership records from 1912 through 1973 [broken series]; records of the Ladies Aid and Woman's Missionary societies, 1900-1969 [broken series]; church bulletins, 1958-1959; the monthly "Our Church Messenger", 1912-1913; "The Church Herald" from 1960-1973; and other church records.

High Point First Baptist Church was constituted in 1832. It is a member of the Central Baptist Association.
