Macedonia Baptist Church was constituted Sept. 20, 1887 as Brackettown Baptist Church with 12 charter members. This church has been a member of the Green River (1887-1930) and Blue Ridge (1931-present) Baptist associations.
  Scope and Contents
Records consist of minutes of church conferences from Dec. 5, 1908 to Sept. 7, 1997; a church diary, 1984-97; a treasurer's record book, 1959-66; newspaper clippings, 1980-96; Vacation Bible School records, 1958-61; and organization records from the Baptist Training Union, 1951; Adult Sunday School Class, 1967-72; and other Sunday School records, 1959-79.
