Forest City First Baptist Church was constituted in Forest City, North Carolina in December 1848 as Cool Springs. It was renamed Forest City Baptist Church in 1889. This church has been a member of Green River and Sandy Run (1890 - present) Baptist Associations.
Reel 1 of this acquisition was purchased from the North Carolina State Archives in Raleigh, North Carolina on March 23, 1973. Reel 2 items were placed on loan for microfilming and return to the church by Ms. Azaleen Lowdermilk of Forest City, North Carolina on June 2, 1995.
