Wake Forest University is a private research institution founded in 1834 in Wake Forest, North Carolina. Wake Forest College moved from Wake Forest to Winston-Salem, North Carolina in 1956. In 1967, Wake Forest College became Wake Forest University. As of 2018, WFU had over 150 chartered student clubs and organizations.
This collection of posters and fliers publicized events held by student-run organizations. Events include club meetings, theatrical and musical productions, political debates, philanthropy fundraisers, sporting events, study abroad opportunities, well-being initiatives, and more. The posters were created by their respective organizations and are most often collected from Z. Smith Reynolds Library's billboards.
