Calloway School of Business and Accountancy Records RG26.0 Z. Smith Reynolds Library Special Collections and Archives 0.21 linear feet 1 half-size document box 1985-2013 Wake Forest University's School of Business was established in 1969, and is the combination of the Babcock Graduate School of Management as well as the Calloway School of Business and Accountancy as of 2013. This collection contains brochures, newsletters, and notecards for the Calloway School of Business. Artifacts from the opening of Farrell Hall are also included. Historical Note

Wake Forest University's undergraduate business program was established in 1948, as the department of business administration. The Babcock Graduate School of Management opened in 1969. In 1980, the school became the School of Business and Accountancy. In 1995, the school was named after former PepsiCo Chief Executive Officer Wayne Calloway. As of 2008, Wake Forest University's Babcock Graduate School of Management and Calloway School of Business and Accountancy were combined to become the Schools of Business; that division was renamed School of Business in 2013. WFU's School of Business has over 20 clubs and a Leadership Series that hosts leaders on campus, including corporate chief executive officers, Congressional representatives, and former British Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher.

This collection contains fundraising, newsletter, and program brochures for the Calloway School of Busines and Accountancy, WFU's undergraduate business program. There are also notecards for the Calloway School of Business.
