In 1857, a group of 39 Christians came together under the leadership of Reverend Dewey R. King to organize a church for public worship known as Ephesus Baptist Church.

This collection includes church meeting minutes (1835-1870) and (1892-1919), church covenants, church membership, a membership list (1893), dismissed members lists (1893-1912), names of those baptized (1894-1914), name lists identified as Received by Letter (1893-1917), and a name list of those who have died (1893-1913).
