Island Creek Baptist Church was founded in 1820 in Granville County, North Carolina.
This volume contains church records when the church was in Granville County. It includes church meeting minutes with church activities and records of sermons, baptism, and new members admission etc. (1821-circa 1861, 1863-1868), a brief history of the church (1820), membership rolls (1829-1867), and African American membership rolls (1833-1872) both with notes of dates of dismission and decease. They are handwritten in a bound item that lacks covers and some pages, and has some loosing leaves of paper.
