This collection includes male and female membership rolls, African American membership rolls with occasional notes of dates of decease and dismission (1848, 1850, 1853, 1882), financial records (1878), church meeting minutes (1848-1864, 1866-1885), membership rolls with notes of dates of admission, baptism, dismission, and decease (1896-1925), and church meeting minutes (1896-1925), financial records (1921, 1923, undated), reports to the Eastern Baptist Association (circa 1910s, 1919, 1924, undated), letters of membership dismission or recommendation to the church (1905, 1916, 1918-1920, 1923-1924), business letters to the church (circa 1910s, 1921-1922), two resolutions of respect (1928, undated), and a newspaper clipping which is an obituary of John Otis Herring (1914).
