Eugene (Gene) Benjamin Hager (1928-2005) was a Wake Forest College alumnus (1949), Baptist minister, and worked for the Baptist State Convention of N.C. Hager served as Director of Missions for 34 years. He served several North Carolina Baptist associations, taking on the duties of treasurer as well. Hager also acted as a pastor and taught classes on the Old and New Testaments at Wayne Community College, Goldsboro, N.C.
