Biographical Note
Walter Nathan Johnson was an alumnus of Wake Forest College (1899), and a Baptist pastor who served in North Carolina and Louisiana. He served as secretary of missions in both Louisiana (1907-1909) and North Carolina (1915-1920). Later he became secretary of the Steward League of Baptist ministers and editor of
The Next Step in the Churches, the League's bulletin. He was author of a number of books and articles.
