Calvary Baptist Church (Reidsville, N.C.) was constituted in 1901 as Mount Calvary Baptist and admitted to the Piedmont Baptist Association. By 1904, the church was listed as Calvary Baptist. In 1948, the church became a charter member of the Dan Valley Baptist Association.
This collection includes minutes of church conferences and membership rolls from 1901 to 1959 across three volumes. Pages 58-81 and 87-96 are indicated missing from volume one (1901-1906). Subjects covered include church covenant and constitution, financial matters, church officers, and correspondence, between church officials and congregants. The collection also includes newspaper clippings from 1976-2000 and a history file from 2001 pertaining to the church's centennial celebration.
Permission of the church must be obtained to photocopy these records in their entirety.
