- Reverend Mike Aiken is a 1971 graduate of Wake Forest University and also recalls the University's first Earth Day event in 1970. Aiken is actively involved in the Sierra Nature Conservancy, the Nature Conservancy in North Carolina, and the New River Conservancy. Reverend Aiken works with the Greensboro Urban Ministry, linking his faith and environmental work.
