description
Kenneth (Ken) A. Zick received B.A. from Albion College, his JD from Wayne State, and a M.L.S. from the University of Michigan. Zick was Vice President of Student Life and Instructional Resources, Dean of Student Affairs, and Associate Dean of Academic Affairs. In this interview, Ken Zick talks about President Thomas Hearn's legacy of linking Bowman Gray campus and the Reynolda Campus together, breaking from the Baptist Convention, campus buildings and expansion, WFU's emergence as a national elite university. Zick also talks about student life, resources for student development and organizations, fraternities, and donors. Zick tells two stories about President Thomas Hearn: giving the eulogy of a WFU student, and a conversation with a potential donor and a moral hat.
