This black and white image shows the back field view of the Easter Monday baseball game between Wake Forest College and NC State. The game occurred at Riddick Field in Raleigh, NC. The image shows the crowd of spectators in the bleachers, as well as people viewing the game behind the backfield inside their horse drawn carriages. There are buildings in the background beyond the ballpark. The game was an annual tradition dating back to 1901, and lasted for 55 years.
