As an exercise in advanced screenwriting, this creative thesis documents my adaptation and expansion of Willa Cather’s public domain novella A Lost Lady into a 12 episode limited television series. Included in the thesis are the story components needed to develop a formal pitch deck such as a pilot, character bible, and series outline, as well as creator commentary about certain adaptation decisions.
