Ca-Vel Baptist Church of Roxboro, N.C., was founded by Rev. J. Carlton McGregor on December 13, 1934, with other fellow reverends. Over time the church created treasury departments and directors to manage events and age groups. As of 2012, the church is part of the Cooperative Program, which continues to grow in community size and membership.
