- On her second day as president of Wake Forest University, Susan Wente spoke with WFU Provost Emeritus Ed Wilson (’43), affectionately known as Mr. Wake Forest. The conversation took place on campus within ZSR Library's Special Collections and Archives reading room. Among the topics discussed: Dr. Wilson choosing to attend Wake Forest at the age of 16; the impact of World War II and his return to Wake Forest; and serving as an administrator. President Wente also discusses her background and career trajectory. Finally, Dr. Wilson shares about President Scales' vision for the role of the arts and humanities at Wake Forest, by building the Scales Fine Arts Center and developing study abroad programs.
