description
Caption provided reads: "The beech tree in the mountain landscape is unique for two reasons. One, it is one of the first trees to turn a bright yellow which sets it off from the surrounding vegetation. Two, it keeps brown leaves all winter as a focus of interest, even in the deciduous forest." Related to _DSC3179.dng. Appears in projects titled "RHODY" created around Blowing Rock, North Carolina.
