Caption provided reads: "Cold Mountain Sunset. This is 2003, and I am still shooting film. I was intrigued by the many ways that the Parkway was being used and appreciated. I found this couple in the Cold Mountain Overlook waiting for the sun to go down. There are leaves on the trees, and the couple is comfortably dressed for this elevation. I am guessing that the original image was in late summer or very early fall. The December date on the print reflects when the image (scan) was processed."
