dc.description	North Carolina Baptist Hospital welcomed Stokes-Reynolds Memorial Hospital's 150 employees to the Baptist Hospital family with a pig- picking July 8, 1992. North Carolina Baptist Hospital was selected by the Stokes County Board of Commissioners June 25, 1992 to lease the hospital and its Outpatient J.R. Jones Medical Center facility to help stabilize the hospital's finances. Stokes-Reynolds, built in 1953, is located in Danbury, NC. It is a combination health-care facility with 53 hospital beds and 40 skilled-nursing beds. The Dr. J.R. Jones Medical Center located in King, N.C. is an outpatient facility that offers emergency services, outpatient surgery and X-ray and laboratory services. In order to continue expanding health services in the Stokes County area, North Carolina Baptist Hospital purchased a house and five acres of land adjacent to Stokes-Reynolds Memorial Hospital in 1994. The house was renovated for Hospice of Stokes County, which is operated by the hospital. Aerial view of Stokes-Reynolds was taken in 1992.	en_US
