dc.description |
The old building of the Nature Science Center on the corner of Hanes Mill and Bethania Station roads opened in 1938 as a hospital and laundry facility after a $250,000 building program. The facility was then used in 1941 for maternity patients seen on an outpatient basis by Bowman Gray School of Medicine students. In 1964, the Nature Science Center opened. |
