dc.description	Mrs. Davis was married to Egbert Lawrence Davis Sr, first chairman of North Carolina Baptist Hospital Board of Trustees. The Chapel reflects her love of flowers from her garden that she delivered each week to patients. Chapel has a Tudor Gothic style and is made of colonial brick and Indiana limestone with Vermont slate floors, oak woodwork, antiqued silver light fixtures, and stained and tinted hand-blown cathedral glass windows.
