dc.description.abstract M.A. Huggins was an alumnus of Wake Forest College (Class of 1912); Executive Director-Treasurer of the Baptist State Convention of North Carolina, 1932-1959; and historian.His papers consist of family and biographical information; correspondence; speeches; and special files on the Baptist State Convention of North Carolina, Wake Forest College, Baptist schools in North Carolina, and his history of North Carolina Baptists published in 1967. en_US
