dc.description.abstract Archibald Cree was a Baptist minister from Scotland, who moved to North Carolina and served Baptist churches at Roxabel, Rich Square, Jackson, Littleton, Macon, and Vaughan, North CarolinaHis papers consists of biographical and genealogical information; sermons and sermon notes; speeches and addresses; his 1878 diary of a trip to Switzerland, and broadside "Baptist Hymn". The collection also has his wooden box with his shoemaking instruments. en_US
