Rev. Archibald Cree was a native of Scotland and a Baptist minister who moved to North Carolina.

These seventy hand-sewn sermon booklets include the date or dates the sermons were preached, and occasionally the numbers of the hymns used from the Spiritual Songster. Two loose newspaper clippings were also filmed.
