This woolen mill was located in Salem, North Carolina, now part of Winston-Salem.

Collection Overview

The collection consists of a typescript copy of a diary. The diary follows the building of a woolen mill on South Liberty Street, on the property of William Fries. The mill was built under the guidance of Francis Fries, the oldest child of John Christian William and Johanna Elizabeth Fries.
