Biographical and Historical Note

The Half-Century Club is composed of Wake Forest alumni who graduated from the school more than fifty years ago. Alumni enter the club on their 50th class year and are celebrated at Homecoming every Fall.

Collection Overview

Materials include photographs and Sesquicentennial questionnaire information from members of the Half-Century Club, classes 1912-1940. Also included is a compilation of remembrances and artifacts collected by the Class of 1937 for their fiftieth reunion in 1987. Class dates are provided in brackets after the name of the member, followed by their birthdates in parentheses if known.

This collection is arranged into two series: Series 1. General materials, and Series 2. Sesquicentennial questionnaire information. Series 1. General materials contains administrative or collected information. Series 2. Sequicentennial questionnaire information is solely made up of completed questionnaires and other materials provided in celebration of the University's 150-year anniversary in 1984.
