dc.description.abstract Roland L. Gay was an alumnus of Wake Forest College (Class of 1928). He received his MA degree from North Carolina State in 1931, and did further graduate work at Duke University. He was principal of an elementary school in Northampton County, North Carolina In 1933 he joined the Wake Forest College faculty as an instructor in math. He retired from the faculty and Math Department in 1972.His papers consist of biographical clippings, 1972 and 1979; and his grade books, 1933-71. en_US
