Underwood was a Baptist pastor and Director of Missions in the Union Baptist Association from 1951-1959.His papers consist of biographical data and clippings- writings on the history of the Union Baptist Association, Brown Creek Union Baptist Association, and Midway Baptist Church, Wingate, North Carolina. The bulk of this collection consists of 1950s-era black and white photographs of churches and church and associational activities in the Union Baptist Association, and 6f Wingate College. | en_US |
