This piece is made up of violin parts of Victor Hollaender's pantomime work "Sumurun" or "Sumurûn," including from prologue to scene nine, though portions of the work are not present. Notes and revisions in pencil and red and blue colored pencil appear throughout all of the parts. There appears to be three different copyists who provided the fair copies of the parts. Some German notes appear incorrectly transcribed, such as "siebentes bild" instead of "siebtes bild," or seventh part.
