voice [instrumentation]For this score the music is written by Victor Herbert the famous conductor, composer, and cellist and the lyrics by Henry Blossom, the famous librettist and lyricist. Romping Redheads is a piece from 'The Century Girl,' a revue from 1916 produced by Dillingham and Ziegfield with music by Herbert and Irving Berlin. The part appears to be a fair copy but there are alternative or additional lyrics written in pencil under the lyrics that appear in the part. Interestingly, the handwriting does not appear to belong to Max Hoffmann. There are also a few penciled notes giving performance instructions which may mean that this piece was used in Hoffmann performances. [notes]
