Green Creek Baptist Church was constituted ca. 1797. Became Green Creek First Baptist Church on Oct. 3, 1982. This church has been a member of Bethel (S.C.), Broad River (S.C.), Green River, Tyger River, (S.C.), Spartenburg (S.C.), Sandy Run, and Polk Baptist associations.
