Church constituted in 1856.

Collection Overview

Records include the minutes of church conferences from September 9, 1936 to August 1, 1979 and Board of Deacons' records, 1940-1992 [broken series]. Other church records are budgets, constitution, bulletins (1928-71), committee records, covenant, and membership records. Subject files include association letters, building plans, directories, histories, memorials, rolls of Raleigh Road Chapel, newspaper clippings (1965-1993), newsletters (1943-1991); photographs, scrapbooks, and treasurer's reports. Organization records for the Sunday School classes,1888-1975 [broken series], Woman's Missionary Union, 1883-1964, and the Vance County Woman's Missionary Union (1925-1931) were also filmed.
