Biographical and Historical Note

This church was constituted in 1758 and reconstituted Oct. 16, 1784. It has been a member of the Charleston (1759-90?), Yadkin (1790-1818), Pee Dee [E] (1818-25?), Abbott's Creek Union (1825-32) and Liberty (1832-present) Baptist associations.

Collection Overview

Records consist of minutes of church conferences from the reconstitution of the church Oct. 16, 1784 to Oct. 8, 1996 [broken series], including membership rolls and information on the membership and church activities. Other records include those of the W.M.U. and treasurer; and addresses delivered during their bicentennial celebration in 1955.
