Biographical and Historical Note

Church organized in 1785 as Haywoods. Name changed to Corinth in 1875. This church has been a member of the Kehukee (1798-1809?), Raleigh (1810-1830), and Tar River (1831-present) Baptist Associations.

Collection Overview

Records consists of minutes of church conferences from Jan. 1, 1887 to Mar. 17, 1929; and Nov. 1, 1936, including membership lists, ca.1859-1868; a history sketch, 1965; and 2 deeds to church property, 1876-1892.
