Biographical and Historical Note

Zion Hill Baptist Church was organized on April 10, 1814. William Dotson was called as first pastor; James Brayhill as elder, and William Petty, William Johnson, Richard Hood, and John Laws were elected deacons.

Minutes of church conferences from April 10, 1814 to December 17, 1985, including the church constitution and bylaws; a manuscript of minutes from the Lower Creek Baptist Association, circa 1854; and a letter from N.C. Teague, 1934.
