Biographical and Historical Note

Church constituted in 1785. Moved and became Warren Plains in 1875. This church has been a member of Flat River (1829-40) and Tar River (1841-53, 1880-present) Baptist associations.

Collection Overview

Records consist of minutes of church conferences from Jan. 25, 1828 to Oct. 3, 1863 [broken series], including collections for Warren Plains Baptist Church, 1883-1886; membership lists; loose papers; dismissals from the church to form Gardner's Baptist Church (1844); and an undated church property plat.
