Biographical and Historical Note

Butters Baptist Church, Bladen County, North Carolina was organized on May 27, 1932. The church was named for the community of Butters where it was organized. In October 1932, the church was admitted to the Bladen Baptist Association. Wilbur Edwards was the first pastor.
