THE STAGNATION OF INDIANA REAL PROPERTY LAW
Abstract
Each year in this issue, an attempt is made to summarize the noteworthy developments affecting real property law in the state of Indiana. It touches on subjects including real estate transactions, landlord/tenant law, liens and mortgages, land use, statutory law, and the common law of property, including concepts like adverse possession and servitudes. At the end of this article, we will summarize some notable cases that became a part of the law between October 1,2008, and September 30,2009.' First, however, we will more broadly
address the state of Indiana real property law in the year 2010.
