The Baptist State Convention of North Carolina is a member of the Southern Baptist Convention. The organization supports the work of state Baptist associations and individual Baptist churches throughout North Carolina. This collection contains VHS tapes from Baptist State Convention annual meetings and other conferences, workshops, and meetings, dating from roughly 1985 to 2003.

Biographical and Historical Note

The Baptist State Convention of North Carolina (BSCNC) was founded in 1830. It is a member of the Southern Baptist Convention. The organization supports the work of state Baptist associations and individual Baptist churches throughout North Carolina. As of 2017, the BSCNC contains 78 local Baptist associations and about 4,300 churches.

Collection Overview

This collection contains VHS tapes from Baptist State Convention annual meetings and other conferences, workshops, and meetings, dating from roughly 1985 to 2003. Most VHS tapes contain specific mandates. Undated tapes may be able to be dated through further research in Baptist publications. Tapes are listed by alphabetical order and date where possible. A majority of tapes in the Other Events series are undated.
