Biographical and Historical Note
Timothy D. Pyatt became the Dean of Wake Forest University's Z. Smith Reynolds Library on August 3, 2015. The Dean of the Z. Smith Reynolds Library is the chief administrative officer and oversees the budget as well as library personnel and spaces. Pyatt was preceded by Lynn Sutton as dean. Pyatt was formerly the Dorothy Foehr Huck Chair and Head of the Eberly Family Special Collections Library at Pennsylvania State University and also worked at his alma matter, Duke University, and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He earned his master's in library science from North Carolina Central University.
