Evans (second right), wearing binoculars, holding a tool in his right hand and searching for potsherds at an Altun Ha, Belize, excavation site with four Wake Forest students. The back of the photograph reads "Dr. David Evans, anthropology, and students looking for pottery fragments at Altun Ha, a mine ruin site." The photograph is also shown in Wake Forest Magazine (November 1968), page 9.
